Terms of Use

Last updated: October 27, 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and Carina Dataworks (“Carina Dataworks,” “we,” “us”), which operates SkuClinic (the “Service”). By using the Service, including by ticking “I agree to the Terms” in the app or when you create an account, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Estimates only, based on the data you provide. Not financial or tax advice. Verify before acting.

1. What SkuClinic is

SkuClinic is a calculator. It turns the files and numbers you give it into estimated profit per product, bid ceilings, and a suggested action per SKU. It does not connect to or change your Shopify store, Amazon account, Etsy shop, Google Ads account, or any other account. You decide what to do with the numbers.

2. Estimates for information only; not advice

All calculations, figures, recommendations, and labels (such as “Cut ads,” “Raise price,” or “Stop selling”) are estimates provided for informational purposes only. They are not financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal, or advertising-management advice, and no professional relationship is created by your use of the Service. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions that matter to your business.

3. You are responsible for your data and your decisions

Results depend entirely on the data you import or type and on the assumptions the app states (for example the default profit buffer, which units count as sold, and how a date range is turned into an annual figure). You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your data, for checking the results, and for every pricing, advertising, purchasing, inventory, or other business decision you make, including any money you lose.

4. Imported files and changing export formats

Shopify, Amazon, Google, Etsy, and other third parties can change their export formats, column names, and file layouts at any time and without notice. SkuClinic tries to recognize common formats, but we cannot guarantee that every file will be parsed correctly or completely. You are responsible for reviewing the column mapping, spot-checking imported rows against your source data, and verifying imported data before relying on any result.

5. Third-party data and fees

Platform fees, referral rates, fulfillment fees, ad costs, tax rules, and other third-party data change over time and may differ from what you import or what the Service assumes. We do not control third-party platforms and are not responsible for their data, fees, or changes. SkuClinic is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, or Stripe.

6. No guarantee of results

We do not promise or guarantee any result, including any increase in profit, revenue, return on ad spend, or savings. Past figures and estimates do not predict future performance.

7. Provided “as is”

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” with all faults and without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that its calculations will be correct for your situation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carina Dataworks and its owners, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or wasted ad spend, arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you paid nothing, that amount is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Carina Dataworks and its owners, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your data, your business decisions, or your breach of these Terms.

10. Your files, your workspace and privacy

Files you import are read and calculated in your browser. The files themselves are never uploaded. Your workspace (stores, products, settings and saved column mappings) is saved in your browser and, while your trial or subscription is active, also stored in your account so it syncs to your other devices. It is held for us by Cloudflare, our hosting provider for accounts. We keep the previous few cloud copies as backups. See the Privacy page for details.

10A. Accounts

You need an account, with a free trial or an active subscription, to use SkuClinic. The landing page, pricing, these Terms, the Privacy page and the export guide stay open to everyone. Use an email you control and a password you do not use elsewhere, and keep it private; you are responsible for what happens under your account. We store only a scrambled (hashed) version of your password. Sign-in keeps a token in this browser until you sign out or it expires after 30 days. If you forget your password, use Forgot password? on the sign-in screen: we email a single-use link that works for 1 hour. If that email doesn't arrive or reset is unavailable, email skuclinicapp@gmail.com from the address on the account and we'll help you get back in. After you sign up we also email a link to confirm your address; confirming is optional but makes sure reset emails reach you. You can delete your account at any time in Account › Delete account. That deletes your account, its cloud data and backups and cancels any subscription right away. The workspace in your browser is not touched.

11. Plan, free trial, billing and cancelling

The plan. There is one plan, All Access, with every feature: up to 5 separate stores or clients, up to 50,000 SKUs per store, every fix, the simulator, your account with cloud sync, and CSV export. It costs $29.99 a month or $299 a year. An account in its free trial or with an active subscription is required to use the app; there is no free tier.

14-day free trial. Creating an account starts a 14-day free trial of full access with just the account. No card is needed and nothing is charged. There is one free trial per email address: deleting your account and signing up again with the same email does not start a new one. We email you a reminder about 3 days before the trial ends and on the day it ends.

Choosing a plan. To keep using the app after the trial, choose a plan ($29.99 a month or $299 a year) on secure Stripe checkout. You can do this at any time during the trial; billing then starts when the trial ends, so you don’t lose any trial days. If you cancel in Account › Manage billing before the trial ends, you won’t be charged.

When the trial ends without a plan. Your account locks: you can sign in, choose a plan or sign out, but you can’t use the rest of the app. Nothing is deleted. Your data stays saved and is all there again as soon as you subscribe. You can also delete your account at any time.

Renewal. Once billing starts, the subscription renews automatically each month or year at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. We will tell you by email before a price change applies to your subscription.

Cancelling. Cancel anytime in the app under Account › Manage billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep full access until the end of the period you paid for (or the end of the trial). We do not give refunds for partial periods unless the law requires it.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a while and the app asks you to update your card in Manage billing. If it still fails, the subscription ends.

When a subscription ends. Nothing is deleted. You can still open, view, print and export your workspace. Importing, editing, saving changes and cloud sync pause until you subscribe again.

Payments. Payments are handled securely by Stripe; Carina Dataworks never sees or stores your card. No card is needed for the free trial. When you choose a plan, your card details go straight to Stripe on its checkout page; we receive only your email, the plan, the subscription status and its dates. Sending answers with the email form on the landing page does not charge anything.

12. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, to infringe anyone’s rights, or to interfere with or attack the Service. Only import data you have the right to use. Do not resell the Service or present it as your own without our written permission.

13. Ending use

You can stop using the Service at any time; clearing this site’s data in your browser removes what it saved there, and deleting your account removes what is stored in it. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or stop you from using it if you break these Terms. Sections 2 to 9 and 15 to 16 continue to apply after that.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date above shows when. If a change is material, the app will ask you to agree again. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms or the Service: email skuclinicapp@gmail.com, or use the feedback form in the app.

17. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Carina Dataworks about the Service.
